Just proves that anything taken to excess can ruin a man’s life. While its usually gambling, drug or alcohol I guess as an avid fisherman I can see where some could become fly fishing addicts. Something I’ll definately have to consider.

I heard a ski report from the Glass Creek Lodge the other day from the brother-in-law who was looking for access to the upper Owens around Alpers Ranch. Snow was still halfway up the back door, and he got his truck stuck in snow trying to get to the Lodge…I suggested a new sport to him: flyfishing while cross-country skiing….

I too remember catching more fish in a bygone era. Was it that there were more fish to be caught, or in my youth did I have more time to spend in the pursuit of fish. Thank you for your kind words; I feel better knowing that I have saved another lost soul and untold numbers of jobs at tackle shops everywhere.

Do not throw out those cans of Swiss coffee, if they are semi gloss you can use them on the trim mouldings with earthtone wall colors. If it is wall flat; yes, you can loose them. However, please take them to your local recycling center or hazardous waste center.
White, or whisper white is still the most appropriate color for trim mouldings.

When stalking trout, size does matter. Mainly the size of your bank account, which diminshes with every trip to the BlueFin, Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, et al., as we buy more and more expensive rods, reels, tackle, ad nauseum. I remember catching more fish when I was younger, armed only with a fiberglass rod, an old reliable Zebco and just plain old dumb luck. But I digress…you have not ruined your brother’s life-instead you have saved him from the job and other lie-related stress that was robbing him of his youth!!

I didn’t know you blogged. Love the slogan — I’ve gone back to having two hammers, one for nails and one for subs.
I’m loving the work, mostly. It’s like being the conductor of a retard orchestra.
I thought of this one yesterday. You’ll like it:
The difference between an optimistic contractor and a pessimistic carpenter is that, while they both know they’re going to get screwed, the optimist thinks he might like it.
I’m thinking of giving up the blog altogether… havent’ made up my mind, but just don’t feel that itch anymore. We’ll see.
